JC Hagen GmbH is an established plastic polymer trading organisation. Founded in 1999 the main focus has been on PET resin, PET flakes and regind. Lately biodegradable compounds for blown film extrusion under the trade name ECOPOND were added to JC Hagen's portfolio. Key markets are compostabel kitchen waste bags, shopping bags and other flexible packaging films. The supplier KINGFA Science & Technology Co., Ltd. from China operates proprietary technology for the manufacture of biodegradable co-polyester and the compounding process. JC Hagen GmbH is the appointed importer and distributer in Central and Northern Europe for ECOPOND.

Products & Services

JC Hagen GmbH offers biodegradable PLA- and starch-based compounds. The product family name is ECOPOND. Grade FLEX-162 is starch based while FLEX-262 is a more innovative PLA-based compound. Both grades are easily processed on standard LDPE blown film machinery and converting equiqment. Componds and films are certified biodegradable according to DIN 13432 both by DIN Certco and VINCOTTE as OK-compost. Applications for both materials include thin gauge compost bags, vest style carrier bags and larger shopping bags with soft loop handle, flexible packaging films as well as films for agriculture.
