The following documents are needed for the registration of a raw material:

• Description of the chemical composition of the material
• Test report according to DIN V 54900, DIN EN 13432 or ASTM D 6400 or ASTM D 6868
• Infrared transmission spectrum

The following documents are needed for the registration of a semi-finished product:

• Description of the structure of the semi finished product, with information on all layer thicknesses
• List of all materials used, indicating the mass proportion of the respective material in the semi finished product
• For each material in the semi-finished product: reference to the listing of the material in the corresponding positive list or test report in accordance with DIN V 54900, DIN EN 13432 or ASTM D 6400 or ASTM D 6868
• For semi-finished products: test report for disintegration test according to DIN V 54900-3, DIN EN 13432 or ASTM D 6400 or ASTM D 6868, or alternatively a test report according to DIN V 54900, DIN EN 13432 or ASTM D 6400 or ASTM D 6868 for the semis
• For each material included in the semi finished product: infrared transmission spectrum (Not necessary for materials listed in DIN CERTCO’s positive list).

The following documents are needed for the registration of an additive:

• Indication of the chemical composition
• Test report to prove its chemical safety and complete biodegradability according to DIN V 54900-1 and -2, EN 13432 or ASTM D 6400 or ASTM D 6868 or other internationally recognized standard methods for testing biodegradability.
• Infrared transmission spectrum
